We support families of our fallen first responder heroes. Blue Shield Family Foundation, Inc. was established in 2020 by Douglas Oliver and Bret Coulson in memory of First Responders Nassau County Eric James Oliver and Buena Park Police Corporal Tyler Matthew Pinchot, both of whom died in the line of duty. Blue Shield Family Foundation is a registered 501(c) (3).

Deputy Oliver was a U.S. Navy Veteran and had served with the Nassau County (FL) Sheriff’s Office for seven years. He is survived by his 10-year old daughter, parents, two brothers and a sister.

Corporal Pinchot had served with the Buena Park (CA) Police Department for 23 years, and was survived by his wife, three stepchildren, parents, and five siblings.

Our responders need assistance more than ever before. We are here to support families enduring significant financial hardships due to injury and loss of a family member in the line of duty, Blue Shield Family Foundation, Inc. also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by law enforcement and firefighting organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large. Blue Shield Family Foundation, Inc. was created for this purpose.
